Habitat: On roadsides, dykes, dry grasslands, dry dunes, dry and moist heathland.
Appearance: Its range extends from northern Spain to Bulgaria and England, and almost to the Arctic Circle. It can be found almost everywhere in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Activity: May to October.
Characteristics: Length ♂︎ 12–17 mm, length ♀︎ 20–21 mm.
Food: Mainly grasses and herbs.
