Habitat: Breeds in small, bare pools with hard bottoms, near rocky riverbeds, water tanks, cement gutters, etc.
Appearance: First observed in Europe in spring 2007, north of Gibraltar. Originates from Africa via the Arabian Peninsula to India.
Flying season: Mainly between May and November.
